UX Research

Understand your users — their mental models, workflows, and frustrations — through structured research.

Overview

What this involves

We start with users — their mental models, their workflows, their frustrations. Structured interviews, contextual inquiry, and usability testing give us the evidence base that every design decision rests on. Good UX research replaces assumptions with understanding and gives your team confidence that what they are building will work for the people who need to use it.

Deliverables

What you get

  • Research plan and methodology
  • User interview synthesis
  • Usability test findings and recommendations

Questions

Frequently asked

When in the project should UX research happen?
As early as possible, and then continuously. The most valuable research happens before design starts — but we also run usability testing throughout the design and build process to validate decisions as we go.
Can you work with research we have already done?
Yes. We will review what you have, identify gaps, and focus our effort where additional research will have the most impact. We don't repeat work that's already been done well.
