Pattern wins Westland District Council web development project

Pattern has won the pitch to design and build Westland District Council’s website.

Work has begun to modernise its front and back end, and improve the overall digital experience.

The project will include merging three websites into a single content management platform to improve and simplify the authoring experience, while providing good content governance.

The new design will reflect the unique attributes of the region and make it easier for users to get things done online.

Pattern will also be integrating the digital platform with a range of other back-office systems currently being used to provide digital services to the community.

The website will be built using Umbraco 8, an enterprise content management system, and is planned to go live in mid-2021.
