Highlights from Microsoft's executive briefing

I have just returned from a three-day technology briefing at Microsoft’s Executive Briefing Centre in Seattle, USA.Microsoft's US briefing centre is where senior professionals can attend tours and talks by its various experts.

I joined 14 other New Zealand company representatives on tours to core labs and departments including the Surface Lab, digital transformation hub, digital crimes unit and the Azure Cloud Collaboration Centre.

The briefings by product leads provided insights into the future of IT strategy, solutions and included several roundtables for some invaluable Q&A sessions. Topics covered included security, artificial intelligence, enterprise cloud and data warehousing among others.

It was also an opportunity to build relationships with Microsoft's team, and be informed for future business, strategic and technology decisions.

It was great to get a glimpse into where Microsoft is headed with their app suites, in particular products like Azure DevOps, Power BI and MS Teams.

Microsoft has made huge strides in cloud technology recently and subsequently won some landmark contracts. In partnering with Microsoft, we are offering the best technology stack to our clients.
